Foolsauee, a Hindu female, aged 24 years, presented herself at the Julpigoree Dispensary on the 11th August 1872, for the purpose of having an enormous tumour that had developed within the last 6 years removed. She had been brought up from puberty as a prostitute, and had suffered both from syphilis and gonorrhoea. Has never borne children. Up till about three months before admission her menses, she says, had been regular. Seems in fair health, and is in tolerably good condition.
